Overview of the Job
We are looking to add a caring and committed Care Worker to our team. In this position, you will be responsible for providing vital assistance to people in a care facility, guaranteeing their comfort, security, and general health. The ideal applicant will be passionate about senior care, have excellent communication skills, and be able to follow care plans and collaborate well with others.
Duties
- Help individuals with their everyday tasks, such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and mobility assistance.
- Execute and adhere to personalised care plans made for each resident.
- To guarantee continuity of treatment, maintain good communication with residents, relatives, and medical staff.
- Encourage a collaborative atmosphere by supervising and assisting junior employees.
- Keep thorough records of each resident’s development and any modifications to their health.
- As needed, transport residents to social events or appointments.
Attend training programs to improve your IT proficiency with regard to care management systems. - Maintain the highest standards of hygiene and security in the assisted living setting.
Qualifications
- While not required, prior experience in senior care or a related function is preferred.
- Strong leadership qualities and the capacity to effectively manage and inspire people.
- Outstanding writing and vocal communication abilities for communicating with residents and other team members.
- Having a current driver’s license is helpful when residents need to be transported.
- Knowledge of care plans and the capacity to carry them out precisely.
- A compassionate demeanour and a dedication to improving the standard of living for the people under your supervision.
