Overview of the Job
You will be in charge of our café’s day-to-day operations as a café supervisor, making sure that patrons receive outstanding service and a warm and inviting atmosphere.
Duties
- Oversee café employees and use marketing techniques to increase sales. Barista skills are required for staff training.
- Scheduling, performance review, and training
- Uphold excellent standards for the calibre, presentation, and customer service of the meal.
- Keep an eye on stock levels and place orders as necessary.
- Verify adherence to hygienic guidelines and food safety laws.
- Create and revise menus in coordination with the culinary staff.
- Respond to consumer questions, comments, and grievances in a timely and courteous manner.
- Supervise the food and drink preparation and service.
- Use marketing techniques to draw in new clients and hold onto current ones.
Experience
- Prior experience in a comparable position in the hospitality sector
- Understanding of food safety laws, culinary methods, and food production
- Excellent team management abilities with the capacity to successfully lead and inspire employees
- It is beneficial to have prior bartending or restaurant management experience.
- The capacity to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced setting
Type of Job: Full-time
Hourly wage: £13.00 to £13.10 Hours anticipated: 25 to 35 each week
