Hotel Manager – UK visa sponsorship
Summary of Position
We are seeking an experienced and creative Hotel Manager to handle the day to day operations of our prestigious property at The Lion Hotel, which has 40 guestrooms and full fledged Food & Beverage Services. The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering outstanding guest experiences, staff management and upholding the highest standards of hospitality. A good background in hotel management, leadership and guest services is important to lead the development of our hotel. Multilingual or bilingual skills appreciated to better communicate with various consumers and staff. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive professional to join a devoted team to lead a thriving hospitality environment.
Duties
Oversee all hotel operations including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance and food & beverage services.
Manage and direct hotel staff, including coaching, training and appraisals to guarantee high standards of service.
Handle visitor relations to ensure satisfaction and to address any issues swiftly and professionally.
Work with Directors to attract, on-board and retain talented individuals.
Develop and implement operational rules and procedures to maximise efficiency and guest experience.
Monitor financial performance including budgets and cost control actions.
Comply with health & safety regulations and hotel policies.
Cultivate a healthy work atmosphere that promotes teamwork and professional development.
Cultivate partnerships with local community partners & vendors to improve hotel offerings.
Qualifictions
Experience in hotel management or related position within the hospitality industry.
Proven supervisory experience with a history of directing successful teams.
Demonstrated knowledge of guest services, hospitality standards, and operational procedures.
Strong organisational abilities and able to juggle numerous priorities at once.
Multilingual or bilingual skills are very desirable for successful communication with a varied range of guests and staff.
Leadership abilities with a proactive strategy for issue solving and decision making.
Previous experience in team management is desirable, but not essential.
Passion for delivering excellent guest experiences and high levels of service.
