Essential Job Functions
Dispensing of prescriptions including Clinical Trials whilst ensuring compliance with Controlled Drugs laws within the dispensary to maintain high standards of training for our trainees in the department. You will be trained on new e-prescribing technologies (EPMA and iQemo) within the dispensary. To be part of a friendly, highly motivated and trained efficient team that keeps striving for perfection.
Experience
Post registration experience of working as a pharmacy technician or extensive experience of working in an acute NHS hospital environment
Experience with supervising and training junior pharmacy technicians, students and other personnel; undertaking basic work based assessments
Experience of delivering medications management services within a ward setting
Use of Datix incident reporting system or similar
Review, update and implement SOPs for Pharmacy and other areas
