🎯 Responsibilities
Edit raw footage into finished videos that may be used on a variety of platforms, making sure that the visuals are consistent and the story flows.
Add graphics, colour grading, sound effects, and music to make the video look better.
Work with designers, content creators, and marketing teams to figure out what the project needs and tell interesting stories through visuals.
Keep track of numerous projects at once and meet all deadlines.
Use specialised software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Adobe After Effects, and Adobe Illustrator to make interesting content.
Use your photography abilities when filming or picking pictures for video projects.
Keep project files structured and make sure that all assets are kept and backed up correctly.
Keep up with the newest developments in video editing and making multimedia.
✅ What you need
A strong portfolio that shows a range of video editing projects you’ve worked on in the past
You should be able to use Adobe Creative Suite, which includes Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
It would be helpful to have worked with Final Cut Pro before.
A good grasp of the basics and techniques of photography
A lot of experience in colour grading, motion graphics, and visual effects
Great at organising and able to handle a lot of deadlines at once
A creative mind, an eye for detail, and great narrative skills
Able to work alone and with others on a team
A recognised qualification or similar work experience in media production or a related industry is preferred.
