You will be in charge of coordinating the financial workstreams of our Specialist Commercial Services division, which includes the Patient Engagement in Clinical Development (PECD) service, among other things.
You will be in charge of all management accounting, as well as keeping an eye on, predicting, and analysing service income and expenses. You will also be in charge of making sure that life sciences industry and charity partners, as well as public and third sector partners who work with the PECD service operations, get paid.
You will work closely with people in the Specialist Commercial Services division of the Research Delivery Directorate while you are a member of the NIHR RDNCC Finance team. You will also work closely with the Life Sciences, Partnerships, and Growth Directorate and the Public Engagement Directorate.
The RDNCC office on Queen Street in Leeds will be the main place for this job. We work in a hybrid approach, and we anticipate all RDNCC workers to spend at least 40% of their time in the office. We are also willing to talk about alternate ways to work that are flexible.
