IT Hybrid Jobs with Visa Sponsorship – IT Hybrid Jobs with Visa Sponsorship 2026 | High-Paying UK Tech Opportunities
If you are looking for IT hybrid jobs with visa sponsorship in the UK, several top companies and research organisations are currently hiring skilled technology professionals. These roles include software engineering, full-stack development, platform development, and product support, offering competitive salaries and hybrid working opportunities.
Techmunity is looking for a Principal Backend Engineer for a Series A company backed by YC that handles more than 20 million financial transactions per day for some of the fastest-growing lenders and fintechs in the world.
They’ve hired twice as many individuals in the last year and tripled their sales. There are 15 engineers in London, and that number is rising. This hire will help shape what that team looks like in the future.
The problem is really challenging. A backend that was made to be fast to market now needs to be made to be big.
Multi-tenancy across dozens of business clients, high-throughput machine learning pipelines that handle sensitive financial records, and the kind of complicated distributed systems that only happen when a product is really in demand.
This is a hands-on IC job. You’ll work closely with the CTO and Head of Engineering, make decisions about the platform’s architecture that will affect how it grows, and determine the technical direction for going from hundreds of clients to thousands.
The people around you have built and grown systems at Facebook, Spotify, Revolut, and other places.
What they want:
8 or more years of experience building and scaling backend systems in B2B SaaS or fintech
Strong Python in production, not just scripts but real backend services
At least two significant periods of time spent taking a platform from the beginning to a substantial level (Series A to C+ level)
Proven experience with distributed systems, multi-tenancy, data pipeline dependability, and handling large amounts of regulated or sensitive data
Someone who determines the technological direction and elevates engineering standards by making amazing systems instead of through management or method
You want to develop, not manage, at heart
Python, GCP/AWS, Terraform, and LLM/ML pipelines are all part of the stack.
Location: Central London, working in the office two days a week
Compensation: a base salary of £220,000 to £270,000 plus 0.1% to 0.15% equity. Sponsorship for a VISA is possible.
For the appropriate person, there is also a real long-term job opportunity. The firm is developing quickly, the engineering team is getting bigger, and there is a clear path to taking on more work as that growth continues.
You will be in charge of supporting and developing software that can curate, coordinate, validate, distribute, and visualise data on agriculture, aquaculture, and biodiversity. You will work with big scientific groups to set and enforce metadata standards, make software to check and improve data descriptions, and create new project-specific portals. You will also add to existing web data portals like (http://data.faang.org and https://www.ebi.ac.uk/biodiversity/data_portal) to meet the needs of each consortium.
There will be Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) and custom data visualisation and presentation solutions in the data portals. You will also help with the creation of common containerised workflows and the integration of cloud platforms.
As a member of this team, you will have many chances to work with data generators, project users, and collaborators. You will help them use the team’s tools and help them write detailed metadata descriptions.
You will work with a variety of data archives at EMBL-EBI, such as the ENA and BioSamples, to help each research and community share and get access to well-described, high-quality genomic and sample data.
