About You
The person who gets the job will have experience working hard to provide great customer service and educate team members on how to do their jobs. You will have a lot of expertise managing hospitality in the front of the house and be able to lead and encourage your team members well. You will know about the health and safety rules and licensing legislation that apply to your job, and you will have familiarity with financial, budget, and deviation reporting. You should also be very good at organising things and be able to handle a lot of tasks at once in a busy setting.
Take care of the front of house operations in your area of responsibility and make sure that customers always get great service.
Make sure that University rules are followed when it comes to financial control, health and safety, licensing law, HACCP, and staffing.
Keep up with standards for customer service and care, and be aware of product knowledge and merchandising.
To work on projects that will improve food and drink offerings, management, and customer service, you will need to get training and work with the Hospitality management team.
The job requires working early in the morning, in the evening, and on weekends for 36.5 hours a week, five days a week. Being flexible is crucial.
