The Part
The Bid Manager is in charge of getting the Budget and Tender pricing documents ready and submitting them. They also work with the bidding team, present the bid to clients, and get the new contracts. The Sales Director is in charge of this job.
Important Duties
Reviewing the bids that came in and putting together the list of specifications
Talk to Estimators about expenses from China
Make a list of pricing and specifications for things acquired in Europe.
Follow the steps to raise the number of Yuanda Europe projects.
Make a list of the initial costs for the program and the order in which the work will be done.
Make a plan for the proposed project
Make and send out contract materials for the contract and commercial Directors to look over.
Get the necessary design drawings and engineering calculations ready for tender submissions.
Work with estimators to make cost submission bill pages
Make a tender letter and presentation that include price and design qualifications.
Go to meetings before and after the tender and negotiate until the deal is done.
Keep track of both electronic and paper copies of bids that have been sent in.
Looking for new clientele and bidding possibilities.
