Overview of the Job

We are looking to add a caring and committed Care Worker to our team. The right applicant will be essential to delivering top-notch care to people in their homes or assisted living facilities. A dedication to improving the comfort, safety, and well-being of individuals under our care is necessary for this role.

Duties

Create and carry out individualised care plans based on each person’s need.

Help clients with everyday tasks like meal preparation, personal hygiene, and medication administration.

Create a happy atmosphere by offering clients emotional support and companionship.

Keep thorough records of the care given, and notify the proper staff of any changes in the client’s condition.

Make sure the clients’ living quarters are safe and hygienic.

To guarantee continuity of treatment, communicate clearly with patients, families, and medical staff.

As needed, provide safe transportation for clients by driving them to appointments or social events.

Skills

Ability to create and adhere to care plans that are tailored to the needs of each unique client.

It is also beneficial to have prior experience providing home care or working in a care facility.

Excellent written and vocal English communication abilities to engage with clients and their families.

fundamental IT abilities to use electronic health records and keep paperwork.

It is preferred to have a current driver’s license.

To succeed in this position, one must possess empathy, patience, and a sincere desire to assist others.
