About the Role
Salary per annum: £37,938 – £39,513 per annum (pro rata for part-time)
- Plus a £6,000 market rate supplement (subject to annual review)
- Plus Depending on the team, a welcome payment of £10,000, £6,000, or £4,000 will be given following a successful probation.
- Plus a retention incentive of £2,000 after four years of service
- Plus Three CPD days annually
- Plus a £25 yearly CPD coupon

Qualifications
To work for Bedford Borough Council as a Qualified Social Worker, you will require:

- A social work degree or a comparable credential
- At least one year of post-qualifying experience as a social worker in children’s social care, or successful completion of the Children’s Workforce Development Council’s Newly Qualified Social Worker program or the Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE)
- Experience pertinent to the team for which you are applying
- Registration with Social Work England
