We are looking for a highly qualified and trustworthy Workshop Technician to join our expanding team at Best Bargain Sewing Supplies Ltd. For a 37.5-hour workweek, this full-time position offers a competitive income of £38,700.00 annually.
As a Workshop Technician, you will be in charge of the upkeep, repair, and support of the classic chainstitch and Irish embroidery machines that our loyal clientele uses both in-person and online. Our machines offer popular models like JUKI, Brother, and Singer Irish embroidery machines, as well as Cornely and Singer chainstitch machines.
You will be responsible for maintaining embroidery skills, accurate mechanical adjustments, effective problem resolution, and optimal machine operational performance both in-store and online. Your technical know-how will support our online clients in getting the most out of their machines and help maintain a smooth operation in the workshop. Your ability to train and communicate with assurance and clarity will guarantee that machine buyers have a great experience, especially with regard to online after-sale assistance.
Strong knowledge of mechanically crank-operated embroidery machines, meticulousness, and the capacity to oversee activities on one’s own while fostering a cooperative team atmosphere are necessary for this position. It will be highly appreciated if you are familiar with manual operating techniques such thread tensioning, timing adjustments, and mechanical calibration of all kinds of machines.
