About the job:
Two-week schedule: W1: Mon, Tue, Sat, Sun; W2: Wed, Thu, Fri
07:00 to 14:00 and 16:00 to 22:30
£14.00 an hour
£0.35 per mile (mileage claim)
Pay cheques every two weeks (Fridays, every other week)
Duties: (UK Visa Sponsorship Care Assistant 2026)
Help clients with everyday tasks like bathing, clothing, and grooming
Be there for customers as a friend and emotional support
Give medications as instructed by doctors and nurses
Help with planning, cooking, and eating meals
Do little chores around the house, like doing the laundry and cleaning up
Keep an eye on clients’ health and behaviour and let the right people know if anything changes.
Requirements:
A car and a valid driver’s license (not up for negotiation)
Living in the UK right now on one of the following visas: Student, Graduate, or Dependent
A high school diploma or anything like it
Previous experience in a similar job is a plus, but not necessary
Kind and patient behaviour
Great at talking to and getting along with others
Can follow directions and work on their own
Reliable transport to get to clients’ houses
Must pass a drug test and a background check
