We need a Bar Manager who is experienced and energetic to run our real Indian restaurant. The person who gets the job will be in charge of running the bar, overseeing the staff, making sure customers get great service, and keeping food safety and hygiene standards high. Duties
Oversee the bar’s daily operations, which include making drinks, serving them, and making sure quality standards are fulfilled.
Oversee and manage the bar crew, giving them training and support to make sure they provide great service.
Work with the culinary staff to make sure that food and drinks are served and paired perfectly.
Keep track of your stock, order supplies, and manage your inventory well.
Always make sure that food safety and hygiene rules are followed.
Be the leader of the team in giving customers great service and fixing problems quickly.
Use marketing to improve the restaurant’s image and get more customers involved.
Keep an eye on the bar’s finances, such as sales goals and how well they handle waste.
Make sure that the restaurant’s brand requirements are met in terms of service, look, and hospitality.
Requirements (UK Tier 2 Sponsorship Hospitality Jobs)
Experience as a supervisor in a restaurant or hospitality sector, ideally in Indian cuisine or a related type of cooking
Strong talents in managing a team, motivating employees, and creating a good work environment
A lot of information about how to prepare food, cook it, and keep it safe
Having worked in a kitchen, hotel, or food manufacturing setting is a plus.
Good at organising things and being able to do a lot of things at once when you’re under pressure
Experience in serving or hospitality positions that show good customer service skills
Leadership skills that include being proactive when it comes to making decisions and solving problems
Knowing how to make drinks or work as a barista is helpful but not necessary.
Having experience in cooking or working in a hotel will be a benefit.
