We are looking for a Domiciliary Care Worker in Aberdeenshire who is motivated and kind. In this job, you will help people in their own homes with important tasks that will help them live safely and freely.
Duties:
Helping with personal care tasks like bathing, dressing, using the toilet, and washing.
Being there for someone and giving them emotional support.
Helping with chores around the house, such cleaning, doing laundry, and making meals.
Helping with appointments and social events.
Giving medicine and keeping an eye on health concerns (with the right training).
Encouraging health and independence.
Keeping accurate records and letting the customer know about any changes in their condition.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a care role, ideally in a home care setting.
A kind and caring personality.
Great at talking to and working with other people.
Can work alone and with others.
A car and a valid driver’s license.
At least six months of work experience in the UK.
Only women can apply.
Wantable:
SVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care.
Worked with and cared for older people before.
