Summary of the Job
We are looking for a caring and dependable Home Assistant to help people with their everyday activities in a private home or care home. The individual who gets the job will help clients in a way that is tailored to them, encourage them to be independent, and make sure they are safe and comfortable. This job lets you make a real difference in people’s lives by providing dedicated home care.
Duties
Help clients with daily duties like getting dressed, taking care of their personal hygiene, and getting around.
Help healthcare workers put individualised care plans into action.
Be a friend and emotional support for clients.
Help with small jobs around the house, such cleaning, doing laundry, and making meals
Make sure your clients are secure by keeping an eye on their health and reporting any worries right away.
Take customers to appointments or social events when needed.
Keep accurate records of the care you give and talk to team members and family members clearly and efficiently.
Follow health and safety rules, such as those for controlling infections.
Skills
A valid driving licence and experience driving safely in the region
Have worked in a care facility or provided home care services before
Knowing about care plans and being able to follow them exactly
Good written and spoken English communication abilities
Basic computer abilities for keeping records and updating care documents
Kind and caring, with great people skills
Being able to operate alone and with others
Organised, dependable, and pays attention to details
