The best candidate will have expertise making deliveries and a clean driving record. They should also be able to do physical duties like carrying large things.
Duties of Purchasing & UK Delivery Driver Jobs
Drive corporate cars safely to deliver goods to customers on time
Plan routes well to make the most of delivery times and cut down on delays.
Load and unload things, making sure they are safely secured while they are being shipped.
Talk to clients explicitly about delivery times and any problems that might come up.
Keep precise records and documents for deliveries
Check vehicles regularly and let the owner know right away if they need any repairs.
When you distribute or handle goods, make sure you follow all health and safety rules.
Help with warehouse activities when needed, such as arranging stock and getting orders ready to be shipped
Knowledge
It is desirable that you have worked as a delivery driver or in a similar job before.
UK valid A full driving licence and a clean driving record
Having experience driving commercial vehicles is a plus.
Knowing how warehouses work and how logistics work is helpful.
The ability to carry heavy things safely, which generally means moving big or heavy things.
Good communication abilities to work with clients and coworkers in a professional way
