We are looking to add a committed and caring healthcare assistant to our team.

As a healthcare assistant, you will also attend team meetings and serve as a liaison with service managers.   • Supervising and keeping an eye on home caretakers and carers
  • Reacting to crises and offering direction and assistance to carers

Additionally

As a health care assistant, you will give patients vital help in a home environment. Your main goal will be to help people with everyday tasks, making sure they are comfortable and healthy while encouraging their independence. The ideal applicant will be able to follow care plans efficiently, have a basic awareness of IT systems, and have great English communication skills.

This position requires a clean, full UK driver’s license.

  • should notify your senior carer and management of any events or accidents in compliance with company policy and quality monitoring procedures.
  • to determine the danger of contamination or infection and notify your senior carer of any concerns for additional evaluation.
  • to promote planned care and support by helping to maintain normal standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • To guarantee that any equipment supplied as part of the care and support plan is safe and appropriate for its intended use, to the extent that it is practically possible.
  • to help or give the client their medication in accordance with the policies and procedures of Healthrites Care Solutions.
  • should receive regular updates and the proper amount of training in order to keep current on best practices about medicine and other elements of treatment.
  • to take the steps specified in risk assessments in compliance with applicable HealthritesCare Solution rules as well as normal legal requirements for health and safety.
  • should notify your senior carer of any issues, flaws, or damage found in the building, fixtures, fittings, or equipment.
  • to understand and abide by Healthrites Care Solutions’ organisational structure and management.
  • should be aware of the locations and methods for obtaining HealthritesCare Solutions policies, procedures, and pertinent documentation.
  • to be aware of the procedures in place for acquiring and acting upon the clients’ approval.
  • should be knowledgeable about national and local resources and services so that clients can receive information upon request.
  • to attend staff meetings (at least four times a year) as needed in order to learn more about the program, receive support, and share ideas.
  • must be able to work under pressure and with flexibility.
  • must be able to interact with clients, coworkers, and management in an efficient manner.

Experience

  • It is necessary to have prior experience working in a healthcare environment.
  • Effective contact with patients and coworkers requires strong English communication skills.
  • Utilising healthcare software and keeping records both benefit from having a basic understanding of IT.
  • It is beneficial to be familiar with care plans and capable of accurately adhering to them.
  • A desire to learn is crucial; prior experience in a home care setting or a care facility is preferred but not required.
