Help clients with everyday duties like cooking meals, taking their medications, and doing chores around the house.
Give clients emotional support and companionship to improve their mental health.
Help clients with special needs come up with ways to regulate their conduct.
Keep precise records of how your clients are doing and let the right professionals know if their condition changes.
Help clients get to appointments or social events when they need it.
Follow health and safety rules to make sure that clients are in a clean and safe place.
Work alongside doctors and nurses to provide high-quality care that meets each person’s needs.

At least one year of experience in supported living, home care, or patient care.
Level 2 or 3 NVQ.
It is better to know how to do first aid.
It helps to know about hospice care or senior care.
Strong people skills and the ability to get along with clients.
It would be nice to have a valid driver’s license, but it is not necessary.
Ability to show tolerance and understanding when things are tough.
It helps to have relevant qualifications in health and social care, although they are not required.
A commitment to continual professional development and training in how to handle conduct.
