Event Manager (Skilled Worker Visa UK Jobs) Job Description – UK
The job:
The Event Manager will be in charge of running a program of culture and sports events that will boost tourism, strengthen Liverpool’s visitor economy, and support the city’s long-term growth.
As an Event Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and safely carrying out assigned events. This includes making project plans, managing relationships with multiple agencies, making sure that health and safety laws are followed, and overseeing all operations on the day of the event.
As the Event Manager, you will be in charge of volunteers, event support personnel, concessions, contractors, and suppliers. You will make sure that all events meet high standards for public safety, customer experience, and operational efficiency.
As an Event Manager, you will need to strategically manage security arrangements, traffic control systems, emergency protocols, and contingency activation while working directly with both internal departments and external partners.
As an Event Manager, you will need to show that you know how to plan and run both indoor and outdoor events, keep track of finances, oversee the procurement process, analyse how well events went after they happened, and make sure that events follow all rules and regulations.
As an Event Manager, you will also help with big citywide events as part of the Culture Liverpool team. This includes long-term planning, managing contracts, developing volunteers, and making things better all the time.
