Overview of the Role
The Technical Sales & Project Coordinator is in charge of handling trade customer projects from the time they ask for help until the job is done. This job is quite technical and requires a lot of understanding about aluminium glazing systems, order processing, and managing customer accounts.
You will be in charge of every order, from making quotes and correct technical drawings in Logikal to processing orders, keeping track of manufacturing, and handling staged payments. This will make sure that our trade customers get a professional and quick service at every step.
Main Duties
Customer Support and Trade Sales
Answer questions from builders, installers, and trade customers.
Make quotes that are correct and competitive.
Give advice on product combinations, system alternatives, glazing specs, and lead times.
Help with technical issues throughout the project’s life cycle
Create and keep good working relationships with trade accounts.
Duties in drawing and technical work
Use Logikal software to make accurate position drawings.
Set up aluminium systems according to the instructions from the supplier
Correctly read and understand architectural and site drawings
Check that all orders are technically correct before sending them to production.
Talk to production to make sure the standards are correct and answer any technical questions.
Processing Orders and Coordinating Projects
Process orders quickly and correctly
Oversee projects from the time an order is confirmed to the time they are made.
Keep an eye on orders that are in progress and let clients know when there are changes.
Keep an eye on lead times and make sure deadlines are reached.
Take care of problems before they happen to avoid delays on site
Business and Account Management
Keep accurate records of trade customer accounts
Keep an eye on scheduled payments and unpaid amounts.
Professionally follow up on payments that are late
Make sure that all internal systems have the most up-to-date information on orders and payments.
Skills and Experience Needed
Experience in the aluminium glazing, bifold door, or window business (must)
A good understanding of how aluminium systems and configurations work
Being able to use Logikal software well (a must)
Being able to read and understand architectural plans
A good understanding of trade pricing arrangements and a strong sense of business
Great talents in organising and talking to others
Ability to handle more than one live project at a time
