The ideal applicant will be passionate about creating creative, high-performing solutions that meet intricate customer needs, has a strong background in software development, and have a collaborative mentality.
Principal Duties:
- Payment Integration: Create and deploy safe Alipay and WeChat Pay modules for the WhatsApp Ordering System, guaranteeing smooth user experiences and adherence to strict security guidelines (e.g., GDPR, PCI-DSS).
- Ordering System Development: Design and create user-friendly ordering systems for WeChat and Alipay, adhering to platform-specific technical and legal constraints while constructing a strong backend infrastructure.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Assist product managers, designers, and compliance officers in establishing project deliverables, schedules, and scopes while guaranteeing that they are in line with corporate goals.
- Implementation of Security: Integrate cutting-edge security measures to protect consumer information and financial transactions while adhering to international laws.
- Technical Problem-Solving: Identify and fix issues with system integrations, APIs, and payment gateways while maintaining high performance and dependability.
- Innovation and Optimisation: To innovate and improve system scalability and efficiency, stay current on industry trends and upcoming technology.
- Team Leadership: To promote technical competence, mentor junior developers and cultivate a cooperative, productive team culture.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in creating iOS and Android mobile apps and integrating mobile payment systems, especially WeChat Pay and Alipay.
- Ability to create safe APIs and guarantee adherence to PCI-DSS and GDPR regulations.
- Familiarity with relational and non-relational database administration and cloud systems (such as AWS and Azure).
- Demonstrated ability to oversee resources, mentor junior developers, and lead intricate technical projects from start to finish.
- Strong analytical abilities to tackle complex technical problems.
Outstanding communication abilities for working with teams from different departments. - Knowledge of the security procedures and platform-specific requirements for Alipay and WeChat.
- Proactive in investigating new technologies to improve system functionality.
- English proficiency is necessary; knowledge of other languages, including Chinese, is greatly preferred.
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a similar discipline.
- Over seven years of expertise in the field of software development
