Things You Need
At least one year of experience as a supervisor in a restaurant or a similar hospitality job.
A lot of information about how to prepare food, cook it, and use kitchen tools.
Knowing about food safety rules, how food is made, and how to run a kitchen.
Great at managing teams and getting people to work together in a positive way.
Having worked in hotels, bars, or other hospitality situations before is a plus.
Good at organising things and able to handle a lot of tasks at once when under duress.
Leadership talents and the ability to communicate well.
Knowledge of how restaurants work, such as how to serve food and what the standards of hospitality are.
It is encouraged but not required to have a recognised degree in hospitality administration or culinary arts. This job is perfect for a devoted professional who wants to lead a lively team while providing great dining experiences.
