Overview of the Job
To lead, assist, and improve our worship services and religious programming, the Still Waters Church is looking for committed and spiritually driven readers and religious workers. The chosen candidates will have important responsibilities that include reading scripture, preaching, and helping the congregation grow spiritually.
Principal Duties:
- During church services and religious rituals, lead prayers and read passages from the Bible.
- Help with the preparation and delivery of religious lessons and sermons.
- Assist the pastoral staff in planning and leading worship sessions, as well as other religious events.
- Encourage faith-based community involvement by providing church members with spiritual direction and assistance.
- Participate in faith-building activities and community outreach programs.
- Engage in training, theological conversations, and ongoing personal growth.
- Work together with other church personnel and leaders to make sure services and events run well.
Essential Requirements:
- A thorough comprehension of Christian theology and dogma.
- Preaching, scripture reading, or religious ministry experience.
- Outstanding verbal communication abilities with the capacity to captivate and motivate a crowd.
- Strong dedication to volunteerism and religion.
- The capacity to cooperate with volunteers, churchgoers, and clergy.
- Readiness to engage in theological study and training as needed.
