We need an experienced Courier Operations & Driver Coordinator to work on-site at our Central London or Barking (East London) office.
This is an important profession that involves booking jobs, managing drivers, and running the day-to-day operations of the courier service.

Main Duties – Courier Operations & Driver Coordination (Logistics Coordinator Jobs UK)
Online services let you book and handle courier jobs, such as:
Courier Exchange (CX)
Load returns
Other online marketplaces for couriers and goods
Get good employment by negotiating pricing
Give drivers jobs and keep track of their daily workloads.
Keep an eye on the driver’s hours, attendance, and start and end timings.
Plan shifts, availability, and driver schedules
Plan and keep track of vehicle maintenance, which includes:
Inspections and service
MOTs, paying road tax, and renewing insurance
General compliance and availability of vehicles
Make sure that cars are safe to drive and ready to go
Be the main point of contact between drivers and consumers.
Keep an eye on live jobs, deal with delays, and fix problems quickly.
Keep precise records of:
Job reservations, pricing, and PODs
Hours worked by drivers and records of compliance
Taking care of and keeping records for vehicles
Make sure that the company’s rules, safety requirements, and service levels are all met.
Do various operational or administrative tasks as needed to help the firm when needed.

Experience in courier, transportation, or logistics operations that has been proven
Experience using Courier Exchange (CX) or similar services in real life
Great written and spoken communication skills
Ability to organise and do many things at once

Knowing about UK driver hours and following the rules for transport
