Your role
Your role will be to assist our personnel, who are now divided between working from home and our Cambridge studio, as part of our small in-house IT team.
Providing customer-focused first-line help in a Windows environment will be your main duty as an IT technician. In a hybrid work environment, you will reply to customer enquiries, handle Tier 1 helpdesk tickets, and provide IT assistance to our development team. Deploying and maintaining PC hardware and software for employees and new hires will be a major responsibility of yours. Additionally, you will assist with maintaining our studio desktop environment, which includes PCs, printers, development devices, and AV equipment in meeting rooms.
In addition to being exposed to state-of-the-art networking, storage, and cloud infrastructure technologies, you will have the chance to participate in project work with the larger IT team.

Your Ability: You will apply your expertise to give our development teams the resources they require to create game-changing technology and art. You’ll possess:
Essential:
- Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving PC hardware and software issues
- Technical understanding of PC hardware, including parts, assembly, and debugging
- Technical expertise in Windows 10/11, including setup, support, and installation
- understanding of the foundations of networking (LAN/WAN, VPN, Wireless, DNS, DHCP)
- A dedication to quality and an emphasis on customer service
- Outstanding organisational and problem-solving abilities with an emphasis on detail
- The capacity to manage several projects at once and adhere to deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Desired:
Knowledge of M365 services and applications (Office suite, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)
Exposure to Azure services, such as cloud infrastructure, Intune, and Entra
Familiarity with IT service management and documentation technologies, such as Confluence and Atlassian Jira
Familiarity with AV technologies (streaming, conference rooms)
Your Experience:
A tech enthusiast with a love for customer service and a practical approach to problem-solving. Prior to this, you will have worked in an IT support setting.
Essential:
Knowledge of maintaining desktop software and hardware in a hybrid or Windows on-premises company setting
Desired:
Experience working with customers in a Tier 1 helpdesk
