The Role: Desktop & Device Support Technician (Full-Time, Visa Sponsorship)
The Part
We want a cheerful, hands-on Desktop & Device Support Technician to join our tech team.
This job includes helping customers with technical issues, fixing devices, and providing service in our store and at clients’ locations.
You will fix phones and tablets, troubleshoot laptops, set up software, fix network problems, work with POS systems, and provide general tech assistance to clients and local companies.
This is a great chance for someone who likes doing different kinds of technical work and addressing difficulties in the real world.
Main Duties – IT Support & Device Repair Jobs in the UK
Help with technology
Offer first and second-line technical help for networks, desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
Find and fix problems with software, connections, hardware, and printing.
Set up and install operating systems, apps, updates, and security patches.
Put together, set up, and make laptops and desktops run better.
Set up basic network devices including routers and Wi-Fi.
Keep precise service records and write down the work that was done.
Give periodic remote support and be available to help as needed.
Fixing Devices
Do professional repairs on computers, desktops, cellphones, and tablets.
Do all repairs, like changing screens, batteries, charging ports, and board-level diagnostics when possible.
Check the quality of the repaired devices to make sure they fit our standards.
Help customers set up their devices, move their data, and make them work better.
Keep the workshop, tools, and goods clean and organised.
Skills and Experience Required for IT Support Job with UK Visa Sponsorship
Experience in IT, technical assistance, or repair work before.
I know how to use Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android.
Able to find and fix problems with hardware and software on laptops, desktops, and mobile devices.
Knowledge of basic networking, Wi-Fi, routers, and how to set up a small office.
Strong customer service abilities and the ability to explain things in a way that is easy to understand.
Able to handle workloads and operate alone in a small group.
Having any repair or IT qualifications is a plus.
