We are looking for a Restaurant Manager that is experienced and energetic to run a busy restaurant every day. The best person for the job will be a strong leader who loves working in hospitality and knows a lot about food safety, cooking, and managing a team. In this job, you will be in charge of making sure that customers are happy, that food is safe and of good quality, and that a motivated crew gives customers a great dining experience. The Restaurant Manager will be in charge of overseeing the workforce, making sure that operating processes are followed, and creating a good work environment.
Responsibilities
Make sure that all parts of the restaurant run smoothly, from preparing food to cooking it to serving it, to make sure that quality and efficiency criteria are fulfilled.
Oversee and motivate staff members, such as cooks, servers, and kitchen workers, to work together and grow professionally.
Make sure that all spaces follow food safety rules and keep them clean and sanitary at all times.
Keep an eye on your stock, order supplies, and manage your inventory levels to avoid running out or wasting money.
Answer customer questions, quickly fix problems, and make sure that guests always get great service.
Put in place operational policies and procedures that will boost productivity and profits.
Work with suppliers to make sure that ingredients and other important items are delivered on time.
Teach new employees about the company’s rules, how to keep food safe, and how to treat customers.
Keep an eye on how well your business is doing financially by looking at sales statistics and making budgets.
Experience
Experience as a supervisor in a restaurant or other hospitality setting.
A lot of experience working in restaurants and a good foundation in cooking, preparing meals, and making cuisine.
Knowledge of how to cook and run a kitchen; experience in the kitchen is a big plus.
Experience leading teams well in fast-paced environments.
Knowing about food safety rules and requirements.
Having worked in hospitality or hotels before is a plus, as is having worked as a barista.
