Care Assistant: UK Visa Sponsorship
Become a member of our family-run company, which has our carers at its core, and join our multi-award winning team. We are looking for sensitive and loving homecare assistants that are currently in the UK and are looking for sponsorship.
Our headquarters are in Derbyshire, and we have locations in Ripley, Long Eaton, and Ilkeston.
Important information for candidates for sponsorship:
Second-round interviews for sponsorship candidates won’t start for another two to three months, but we are presently analysing applications and holding pre-screening interviews. Please only apply if this time is convenient for you. I appreciate your patience.
Principal Duties
- Delivering excellent care and assistance to people who live in their own homes
- Helping customers with grooming, dressing, and bathing
- Taking care of home chores like laundry and grocery shopping
- Meal preparation and serving at the proper times
- Organising and administering medicine
- Working together with other medical and social workers to deliver the best care possible
- Completing thorough, accurate, and truthful visit notes.
Knowledge, Expertise, and Skills
- A minimum of one year of experience providing care
- Access to your own car and a full UK driver’s licence
- To put empathy into practice at work
- A cooperative individual with strong listening abilities
- Positivity towards coworkers and job
- Leading by example and providing positive examples to one another and the community.

What we provide:
- A minimum of 39 guaranteed weekly hours is required for a full-time schedule. You would work a combination of morning, lunch, tea, and bed calls every day under this arrangement.
- Competitive pay rates: £12.82 per hour, weekday and weekend, plus £2.10 for each property you visit
- Employer contributions for pensions
- Continuous Training: This involves completing your Care Certificate, Advanced Dementia and End of Life training in your first year, and four days of paid CPD that you can utilise annually. It also includes a week of induction training in our award-winning training centre, for which we pay you £425.
