Duties:
Service users should receive personal care and useful assistance to help them live as independently as possible.
Preserving the independence, privacy, and dignity of service users to the greatest extent possible.
Preparing meals and cooking in compliance with specific dietary guidelines
Taking care of the bed linens and personal laundry
After using it, wipe off the floor and clean the kitchen and bathroom, including the dishes.
Changing the linens and making the bed
Dusting and vacuuming your bedroom is part of the cleaning process.
Going shopping and doing household chores
Going for walks
Support, friendship, and socialisation
Engaging in and promoting engaging activities
Helping with correspondence with friends and family
Family carers’ respite care
Supporting and escorting service users while they get ready to go out and accomplish everyday tasks like walking, shopping, and doctor’s appointments.
Preparing, serving, and helping to feed food and beverages
Experience:
- While not necessary, prior experience working in a healthcare context is preferred.
- An advantage is having a basic understanding of medical terminology and processes.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities
- The capacity to function effectively in a group setting
- A sympathetic and considerate disposition towards sufferers
- A keen eye for detail and the capacity to precisely follow directions
Types of Jobs: Part-time and Full-Time
Hourly wage: £12.00 to £12.50
