Summary
Developing, maintaining, and offering service users a professional and efficient care service in accordance with legal standards and best practices is the responsibility of the healthcare assistant/carer driver. Under the supervision of the Senior Carer/Care Coordinator, the healthcare assistant must always adhere to the rules, regulations, and standards. The position is broad and encompasses a variety of tasks beyond simply providing daily care for our clients, such as:
Providing person-centred care that is specific to each service user while assisting and empowering them to preserve their abilities and interests.
Perform periodic training and development as needed to maintain and advance knowledge in order to keep skills at their current level.
Providing care and support by going to clients’ homes.
PRIMARY DUTIES
- Make sure service users’ desires and preferences improve their well-being and that they are at the centre of the care delivery process;
- To assist service users in every facet of their daily lives so they can live as comfortably as possible;
- Make sure you carry out your responsibilities with dedication and care, always acting with the utmost honesty;
- Make sure that care plans and other guidelines for helping service users are adhered to;
- Be in charge of alerting the manager and care coordinator to any modifications in the needs of service users;
- Uphold the company’s principles and objectives in whatever you do, making sure that all internal and legal regulations pertaining to your position are followed to the letter;
- Cultivate productive working relationships with coworkers;

Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to optimise chances for everyone;

Pharmaceutical administration and diabetes treatment (administration of insulin and blood glucose monitoring);

As directed by their care plan, support and help service users with their everyday activities, such as washing, eating, dressing, grooming, using the restroom, and caring for their stoma or catheter;

Control of behaviour, handled by hand, The ability to utilise a hoist,
Inform the family members of service users of any issues, worries, or modifications as necessary;
