Overview of the Job
To join our team, we are looking for a dedicated and caring healthcare assistant. In this position, you will be responsible for giving patients vital support in a range of settings, such as home care settings and assisted living facilities. Assisting people with everyday tasks while maintaining their comfort and wellbeing will be your main priority. The ideal applicant would have a sincere desire to assist people and excellent communication abilities.
Duties
- Help patients with personal care activities like grooming, clothing, and bathing.
- Encourage people to follow their care plans and keep up their regular routines.
- Keep track of and record patients’ health, informing the medical staff of any changes.
- To improve patients’ quality of life, offer them emotional support and company.
- Help patients with their mobility and transportation needs, including providing a ride when necessary.
- Ensure that the personnel and patients are in a clean and safe environment.
- To guarantee thorough care, work well with other medical specialists.
Qualifications
- It is preferred if you have prior expertise in home care or a comparable healthcare environment.
- Strong IT abilities for keeping track of documentation and patient records.
- Able to interact with patients and team members in an efficient manner by speaking and writing in English.
- Knowledge of care plans and the capacity to adhere to them precisely.
When it comes to patient transportation, having a current driver’s license is beneficial. - Outstanding interpersonal skills and the capacity to understand the requirements of patients.
