We are looking for a devoted and caring Domiciliary Carer/Healthcare Assistant to join our professional and caring team in Newport/Torfaen. The individual who gets the job will give service users high-quality, person-centred care in their own homes, helping them live as independently and comfortably as possible. You will help with all parts of everyday life, like personal care, cooking meals, taking medications, and helping people move around. You will create trust with the people you help by being there for them and giving them emotional support while always making sure they are safe, respected, and healthy. This job is very important for helping people keep their quality of life, independence, and confidence while they are at home.
Please note that applicants who do not live in the Newport/Torfaen area must be willing to move before commencing this job.
Responsibilities: (Health Care Assistant Visa Sponsorship)
Help with everyday tasks like showering, getting dressed, cooking, eating, taking medicine, and dressing.
Talk to service users, their families, and healthcare experts in a clear way.
Follow care plans with the help of medical professionals
When needed, drive service users to their appointments or trips.
Keep the area clean and safe for service users; this could mean doing some minor housework.
Give emotional support to the people who use your services and their families.

Great communication and people skills
Ability to carefully and accurately follow care plans
You must have a valid driver’s license (a car of your own is best).
Preferred: experience in a care facility or home care setting
Being good at English
Basic computer skills for keeping records and writing out information
