What you need
Recent experience as a manager, team leader, senior support worker, or key worker in the care field.
Experience working with persons who have mental health issues, autism, difficult behaviours, and learning disabilities
Ability and expertise in helping, motivating, and training people, such as completing monthly supervisions, annual appraisals, leading team meetings, and doing inductions.
Setting a good example on the floor and dealing with problems
Being able to use a computer
Knowledge and a thorough awareness of the rules and laws that govern the CQC and the sector right now
Must be able to change shifts to meet the needs of the service
Strong ideals and a focus on the individual
People who are eager, strong, full of energy, and take action
Strength and determination to get through tough times
Be ready to work with people who act in ways that are hard to deal with and sometimes even dangerous.
Be dedicated to growing as a person and in your career.
Have or be ready to get a Level 5 diploma in Health and Social Care.
Because the service is in a remote area with few public transit options, you need to have your own car and a full UK driving licence.
