Nursing Support Worker β Health and Care Visa
Job Description
We are searching for enthusiastic and energetic Nursing Support Workers to join our devoted team in the Acute Medical Assessment Unit (AMAU) Prince Philip Hospital, Llanelli.
AMAU is alive with activity, providing the key to safe and successful patient treatment and flow. We treat medical patients and receive any medical emergencies by ambulance within the area. Our mission is to deliver seamless, high quality care to patients that use our service.
The unit is made up of 24 beds and 3 resus beds where we may take direct admissions from ambulances, GP surgeries, Minor Injuries Unit, SDEC and Outpatient services inside Prince Philip Hospital.
There is an opportunity to develop professionally in a good and challenging environment, gaining extra experience and learning new skills in caring for acutely unwell patients.
The unit has a range of shift patterns to meet service requirements including days/night rotation.
There are plenty of opportunities for both full and part time hours.

Main Duties of the Job

We are seeking Nursing Support Workers who can operate under pressure to join our devoted team of staff on the Acute Medical Assessment Unit.
We are looking for Nursing Support Workers that are motivated to learn and are flexible in their approach to work.
You will be required to carry out delegated clinical observations and communicate properly.
The successful candidate will have experience of working in a relevant Nursing Support Worker role within AMAU and will be expected to engage with key team members and service users, as well as engaging in all aspects of patient care.
