Supported Living Support Worker: Sponsorship Available
We are looking for caring and dedicated Support Workers to join our supported living team. Their job will be to help people with mental health problems live freely in the community.
This job involves helping people with a wide range of requirements, such as mental health issues, complicated needs, and dual diagnosis, in a way that is centred on the client.
Main Duties
Help people with everyday duties (such personal care as needed)
Encourage people to be independent and get involved in their communities.
Help with medication (if trained)
Help with making appointments, keeping track of money, and daily tasks
Use digital systems to keep accurate care records.
Find and report any safety issues
Make friends with the people you serve and trust them.
Help people keep their Tenancy.
Things you need
Experience providing care or support in the past (recommended but not required)
A strong desire to help people with mental health issues
Good in talking and getting along with others
Ability to work on weekends and at night when needed
Willingness to finish training and sign up with Social Care Wales
