Description of the Job:
With great pleasure, we are seeking a Floor Manager for our bustling restaurant/takeaway in Tooting, Wandsworth. Under the direction of the store manager, you will be in charge of assisting the staff in making sure that we always provide outstanding customer service and have clean facilities.
- Oversee the floor’s daily operations to guarantee seamless and effective service.
- Oversee and train employees, offering direction and assistance as required.
- Adhere to health and safety rules by maintaining standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
- Respond professionally to consumer questions, grievances, and special requests.
- Work together with other divisions to guarantee smooth coordination and client satisfaction.
- Help with acquiring supplies, managing inventories, and keeping expenses under control
- Adopt and uphold corporate standards and processes to keep a productive workplace.
- Understanding of best practices and laws pertaining to food safety and health
- Outstanding interpersonal and customer service abilities
- The capacity to prioritise and multitask in a hectic setting.
- Supervise the floor’s daily activities to guarantee seamless and effective service.
- Oversee and instruct floor employees, offering direction and assistance as required.
- Continue to provide excellent customer service to guarantee that guests are satisfied.
- Keep an eye on stock levels and place orders for supplies as needed.
- Work together with the culinary crew to guarantee prompt and precise meal delivery.
- Maintain a hygienic and secure environment by upholding food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Respond professionally to consumer complaints and address problems.
- During busy times, help with bartending tasks
When necessary, help with meal preparation and cooking. Experience: - Prior experience working as a supervisor in the hospitality sector
- Excellent team management and leadership abilities
- Understanding of the rules and practices pertaining to food safety
- Experience behind the bar is advantageous.
- A background in cooking or a culinary arts degree is advantageous.

- One year of experience in supervision is preferred.
- One year of restaurant management experience is preferred.

Certification/Licensure:
A valid driver’s license is preferred.
