Overview of the Job
To join our vibrant team, we are looking for an Event Manager who is extremely driven and meticulous. The ideal applicant will be well organised, have a solid background in hospitality and event planning, and be able to interact with clients and team members in an effective manner. In order to guarantee a flawless experience for every visitor, this position entails supervising the organisation, management, and planning of several events.
Duties
- Organise and plan every facet of an event, such as guest services, catering, and logistics.
- Work together with clients to comprehend their needs and goals for every event.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers and vendors and oversee budgets.
Oversee the execution of the event on-site, making sure everything goes according to plan. - Upselling extra services and bundles to improve the customer experience.
Create event schedules and timelines, making sure that all due dates are fulfilled. - To guarantee seamless operations during events, coordinate with the personnel of the hotel and restaurant.
- Respond to questions from visitors and deliver first-rate customer service throughout during the event.
- To get input and make future events better, conduct post-event assessments.
Conditions
- Shown expertise in event planning or a similar role in the hospitality sector.
- Excellent organisational abilities and the capacity to oversee several projects at once.
- Outstanding time management abilities to fulfil deadlines.
- Outstanding writing and verbal communication abilities to collaborate with team members and clients.
- Fundraising event experience is advantageous.
- It helps to have experience managing hotels or restaurants.
- The capacity to work a variety of hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed to accommodate event schedules.
- A drive to provide excellent visitor experiences in a hectic setting.
