Job Overview of Multi-Drop Parcel Delivery Driver Jobs
At Babs Mayor Logistics, we are looking for a dependable and driven courier driver to join our team. The ideal applicant will be in charge of delivering shipments and papers to clients in a timely and effective manner while maintaining the best possible customer service. You will drive a DPD vehicle and have to follow all safety and traffic laws.
Principal Duties:
- Drive a delivery truck safely to deliver packages at predetermined places.
- Packages should be loaded and unloaded carefully to avoid damage.
- To guarantee on-time delivery, adhere to prearranged delivery routes and schedules.
- Effectively communicate the status of deliveries to customers and dispatch.
- Keep precise delivery records, complete with tracking numbers and signatures.
- Conduct regular vehicle checks and report any necessary maintenance.
- Respect all workplace policies, safety rules, and traffic laws.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and respond to any questions or issues raised by customers.
Requirements of Multi-Drop Parcel Delivery Driver Jobs
- A clean driving record and a valid full manual licence.
- It is desirable if you have prior delivery or courier experience.
- Excellent time management abilities and self-sufficiency.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities.
- The capacity to lift and transport up to 31 kg of cargo.
- Knowledge of GPS and navigation systems.
- A background check and drug test must be passed.
- Will receive DPD compliance and safety training.
