Overview of the Role
To help a client who wants to become more self-assured and independent, we are looking for a female Well-being & Social Inclusion Coach to offer one-on-one social and community support.
This position is about more than just providing care; it’s also about fostering friendship, empowerment, and trust. ** We are legally allowed to only accept applications from female candidates because this position entails giving personal support to a female client, as stated in Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010.
Duties:
- Encouraging the client to participate in community and social events in order to boost their self-esteem and independence.
- Supplying social situations with emotional support and encouragement.
- Assisting the client in finding and using local resources and services.
- Helping with activities of daily living, such as travelling and attending local events.
- Fostering an atmosphere that is secure, welcoming, and empowering for the client.
Requirements:
- A patient, understanding, and gentle disposition.
- It is preferred to have prior experience dealing with LGBTQ+ people.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- The capacity to promote self-assurance and self-reliance.
- Access to a car and a driver’s license are prerequisites.
- Although complete training is offered, some prior experience in care or social assistance is preferred.
