Duties:
- To provide assistance to individuals in line with their person-centred support plans, which outline their requirements and preferences.
- In accordance with safeguarding policy, to show a dedication to the protection of adults and to identify and report any disclosure, suspicion, or proof of harm, risk of harm, abuse, or neglect.
- To support frequent monitoring and assessment in order to make sure that assistance plans take into account the clients’ evolving needs and desires.
- To support and empower the clients to take an active role in their local and global communities.
- To assist individuals in forming or preserving wholesome familial bonds and a variety of friendships.
- To assist individuals with every facet of their everyday lives, such as grocery shopping, cooking, housekeeping, budgeting, and bill payment.
- To provide respectful and dignified personal care, as necessary.
- To assist people in maintaining their health and safety while adhering to medical professionals’ advice when necessary.
- Must correctly finish all paperwork, including customer records.
- To effectively communicate both orally and in writing with coworkers, family, and other professionals.
- Must promptly voice any issues with the customers or the practice.
- To guarantee that the necessary financial checks are finished.
- To help people find paid work and volunteer opportunities
Must participate in team meetings, individual supervision meetings, and induction training as needed. - To always keep information private.

Person Specification: Crucial Elements

- Lucid communication style both in writing and speaking.
- Fundamental numerical and IT skills.
- To be prepared to participate in mandatory training, which may take place off-site and outside of regular business hours.
- To have the ability and willingness to travel between places as needed.
- Should be accessible for flexible work schedules, such as weekends, evenings, sleep-ins, and nights as needed.
- To uphold ongoing personal development in accordance with internal CPD and the Scottish Social Services Council’s (SSSC) registration criteria.
- A PVG Disclosure check will be performed on this post.
- To complete the necessary coursework and obtain SSSC registration within the allotted time frames

- Experience working in a social care setting or providing support to others.
- A social care credential or its equivalent
