Summary
We are recruiting caring and professional Care Workers to deliver the highest quality of support to people within their own homes. Responsibilities
Providing support in daily routines like personal hygiene, clothing, and mobility
Specialised care for those with dementia or Alzheimers, keeping them secure and comfortable
Assist patients with administration of medications as directed by guidelines
Develop healthy, personalised meals for specific dietary needs and preferences
Employ behaviour management tactics to foster positive interactions and decrease distress
Help with modest housekeeping duties to ensure a clean and safe environment
Provide secure transportation for clients to appointments or outings as needed.
Provide emotional support and friendship to improve mental wellbeing
– Respond quickly to situations and administer first aid when needed
Keep accurate records of care actions in compliance with organisational policies
Skills
Experience in home care or home care settings demonstrated
Competent in patient care procedures, including medicine administration.
Experience with dementia, Alzheimer’s, end of life care,
Skilled in excellent caregiving with a caring approach to clients.
Good organisational abilities for meal prep and regular chores
Valid driver’s license.
Care qualification, (care certificate, Nvq qualification), willingness to do training required
Excellent communication skills, ability to work independently or as a team member
