We are looking for a kind and committed homecare assistant to help people in their homes in the Lancaster (Galgate, Heysham, Morecombe) districts. By helping with everyday tasks and making sure they are comfortable and safe, the ideal applicant will significantly improve our customers’ quality of life. Effective communication abilities and a dedication to adhering to care plans customised for each client are prerequisites for this role.
Tasks
Help clients with grooming, clothing, and bathing, among other personal care duties.
Assist clients with transfers and mobility while maintaining their safety at all times.
Make wholesome meals based on dietary needs and tastes.
Assist clients in managing their medications in accordance with their care plans.
Do some little housekeeping to keep your home tidy and secure.
When necessary, transport clients to social events or appointments.
To guarantee continuity of treatment, communicate clearly with patients, families, and medical staff.
Accurately record daily activities and any modifications to the client’s condition.
Experience (Caregiver Jobs UK Visa Sponsorship)
While not necessary, prior experience in home care or a related position is preferred.
It is beneficial to know care plans and be able to adhere to them strictly.
To connect with clients and their families effectively, one must have strong English communication skills.
When necessary, a valid driver’s license is required for client transportation.
Maintaining documentation and interacting with the team both benefit from having a basic understanding of IT.
While not required, prior experience working in a care facility is advantageous.
