We need a Tracheostomy Carer in Farnham who is experienced and caring to give high-quality, person-centred care to someone with complicated medical needs. This is a full-time, permanent job with shifts during the day and at night. The person who gets the job must have experience with tracheostomy and difficult care and be able to get care worker sponsorship.
Main Duties (Care Worker UK Visa Sponsorship)
Give daily care and help to a customer who has a lot of health problems
Give hands-on care for tracheostomies, such as routine care and monitoring
Suction securely and according to care plans
Take care of and help with PEG and JEJ feeding
Watch, keep an eye on, and report any changes in the client’s health.
Help with personal care and daily tasks when needed
Keep precise records and documentation of care
Follow all health and safety rules, care plans, and risk assessments.
Work together with family members and healthcare providers.
Give care during both day and night shifts.
Important Things to Know (Care Worker UK Visa Sponsorship)
Having worked as a Carer in complex care before
Experience in real life with:
Taking care of a tracheostomy
Suctioning
Feeding with PEG
Feeding through a jejunostomy (JEJ)
Can work 40 hours a week, both days and nights
You are eligible for or currently have a care worker sponsorship.
A strong understanding of protecting others and putting their needs first
A caring, professional approach and good communication abilities
Willingness to work in Farnham
Wanted (but not required)
Level 2 or 3 NVQ/QCF in Health and Social Care
Experience with community or home-based complex care
Training in basic life support or clinical care
