To make sure that both clients and staff are safe, you should always follow health and safety rules.
Use IT tools to keep care records up to date and write down any observations that need to be made.
Requirements
Having worked in a care home or offered home care before is a plus, but not required. You will get comprehensive training.
Having a valid driver’s license is helpful for jobs that involve going out into the community or visiting people.
For efficient communication with clients and team members, you need to be able to write and speak English well.
To keep electronic care records up to date, you need to have some basic IT skills.
Strong organisational abilities and the capacity to follow care plans exactly as they are written.
A kind person with great people skills who shows compassion and understanding for the needs of clients.
