Responsibilities
Lead and direct the team that cares for you.
Help the management team of the house.
Help clients with everyday tasks like washing, dressing, grooming, and getting about.
Give medicine according to the care plans and medical instructions that have been given.
Make healthy meals that meet the specific nutritional needs of each person.
Help clients with light housekeeping duties to keep their homes clean and safe.
Give emotional support and company to help people feel less alone and isolated.
Keep an eye on customers’ health, behaviour, and any worries and tell healthcare providers about them.
Help with specific care needs, such as dementia or Alzheimer’s care and ways to manage behaviour.
Take customers to appointments or social events when needed.
Follow the care plans that have been set up and write down all important observations correctly.
Help clients with things that will help them be more independent and healthy.
Skills Required – Senior Care Jobs UK Visa Sponsorship
Skills
Experience in elder care or as a leader in a care facility is a plus.
Understanding medical terms and how to give medications.
It is very helpful to get first aid certification.
A strong awareness of memory loss, palliative care, and how to regulate conduct.
Good in talking to people and getting along with clients and coworkers.
Able to give clear direction, help, and support to coworkers.
Organised and able to follow comprehensive care plans well.
A caring attitude and a real desire to make clients’ lives better.
You should have a level 3 diploma in health and social care (or something similar) or be prepared to do the course.
