You will be in charge of the turnaround project at Hillcroft Care Home as the Registered Manager. Your main goals will be to raise the level of care, enhance the care staff and make sure that CIW and other regulatory bodies are followed. Your goal is to turn our facility into a centre of excellence for dementia care, and you will provide knowledge about how to care for people with dementia.

Dementia Care Expertise
Use your specialised understanding of dementia care to make personalised care plans that always follow best practices.
Team Development and Management
Lead, teach, and help the care team enhance their skills, morale, and overall job satisfaction.
Create a culture that is kind and focused on the residents.
Compliance and Quality Assurance
Make sure that all CIW and other regulatory criteria are met, and that safety, care quality, and documentation are always at their best.
Collaboration with Stakeholders
Work closely with the registered person and the consultant you hired. Use their advice and help to keep improving and make project management easier.
Involve Residents & Families
Regularly involve residents and their families to improve satisfaction, deal with problems, and create a welcoming atmosphere.
Operational Management
Make sure the care home runs smoothly and efficiently by managing the personnel schedule, the budget, and the distribution of resources.

Registered Manager Certification: You must be currently registered with CIS or be able to register as a Registered Manager.
Experience: Proven track record in turnaround management within a care home, with specific competence in dementia care. Supported NVQ Levels.
Leadership Skills: You need to be able to establish, motivate, and keep high-performing care teams.
Knowledge of Compliance: A thorough awareness of CIW standards, safeguarding measures, and following the rules in dementia care settings.
Communication Skills: Great people skills and the ability to talk to residents, relatives, staff, and outside groups in a clear and effective way.
Problem-Solving Skills: Proven ability to handle difficult problems and put long-term solutions into action in a care home context.
