The role’s objective To effectively coordinate and oversee care assistants in the field in order to guarantee that clients receive top-notch support and care that keeps them secure and at ease in their own homes. Key responsibility

To ensure that care is provided on time, securely, and in accordance with the wishes of the clients (as specified in their care and support plan) and in accordance with the Care Assistants’ agreed-upon availability, make sure that Care Assistants are properly rostered and assigned to clients. to work towards scheduling optimisation that satisfies the requirements of both clients and caretakers. possess expertise in establishing rapport with customers and managing care enquiries. Help the registered manager with competency checks and field supervision. Be adaptable and support the weekend and late on-call schedule.

Duties

  • Communicate with the Registered Manager to make sure that the appropriate amount of Care Assistants with the appropriate skill sets are hired to satisfy the company’s need. Plan for care assistant absences, holidays, or illness.
  • Receive, assign, and handle new client referrals for assistance and care in a timely and efficient manner. Assist the registered manager by evaluating and hiring new clients and creating care plans and risk assessments.
  • Handle any modifications to the care and support requirements of the clients.
  • Make sure there is enough coverage to provide all clients with timely care and assistance that is in line with their individual care plans.
  • Keep an eye on care assistants’ recovery to maximise productivity while assisting them in maintaining a healthy work/life balance.

  • Arrange for care assistants to assist and tend to clients.
  • Collaborate with other team members to match Care Assistants with clients in a way that takes into consideration the following: the client’s preferences and care requirements; the Care Assistant’s abilities, experience, and availability to safely carry out the care and support plan; and the travel plans, routes, and working schedules to maximise Care Assistant time while satisfying client needs.
  • Rotas should be modified as needed to account for staff holidays, illness, and emergency scenario coverage.
  • Assist in evaluating and overseeing employees through observations, spot checks, supervisions, and other means. Additionally, assist in keeping track of their training records to guarantee compliance.
  • At predetermined times, distribute staff rotas.
  • Participate in providing customers with care as necessary. This will only be necessary if the position holder has completed the necessary training and been found qualified to offer suitable direction and counsel in an emergency.
  • Assist the office staff in keeping current handwritten and electronic records. Utilise systems to track and record travel lengths and miles. Ensure that mishaps and accidents are noted, reported, and dealt with.
  • Maintain the privacy and security of all client and family information.
  • Perform routine office tasks. As directed by the Registered Manager, prepare reports.
  • Considering varying communication needs and comprehension levels, discuss care and assistance with clients and their designated representatives.
  • Provide excellent homecare services and make adjustments as needed in collaboration with the team and other medical and social care specialists.
  • Work as a team with flexibility and always follow Caremark’s policies and procedures.
  • Be able to provide customers with care in a safe manner while adhering to corporate requirements.

Type of Job: Full-time

Salary range: £24,170.00 to £25,459.00 annually
