Summary
We are looking to add a caring and committed Care Assistant to our team. In this position, you will ensure the comfort and well-being of people by giving them vital support in their homes or in care facilities. The ideal applicant will have excellent communication skills and a sincere desire to improve the lives of people under their care.
Duties
- Help clients with everyday tasks like meal preparation, personal hygiene, and medication administration.
- As much as possible, assist clients in adhering to their care plans and preserving their independence.
- To guarantee continuity of care, communicate clearly with patients, their families, and medical staff.
- Keep thorough notes of the treatment you give, and report any modifications to your customers’ conditions.
- When necessary, drive clients to social events or appointments while making sure they are safe.
- Make use of IT platforms for communication, documentation, and scheduling.
- Create a welcoming and encouraging atmosphere that promotes client involvement and wellbeing.
Requirements
Being able to communicate effectively with clients and team members requires fluency in English.
While not required, prior experience providing home care or in a care home setting is preferred.
knowledge of care plans and the capacity to adhere to them precisely.
Having a current driver’s license is beneficial while transporting customers.
strong IT abilities to efficiently handle communication and documents.
Outstanding interpersonal skills, including the capacity to relate to and sympathise with clients from a variety of backgrounds.
