Job Description:
Seeking a care assistant with good hours; someone from Rochdale, Burnley, Littleborough, or Todmorden would be perfect. Complete instruction is given. currently solely female carers.
Overview of the Job:
We are looking to add a caring and committed Care Assistant to our team. The ideal applicant will ensure the comfort, safety, and well-being of people receiving high-quality care in their homes or assisted living facilities. Effective communication abilities and the capacity to adhere to care plans while creating a supportive environment for individuals in need are prerequisites for this position.
Tasks
- Help clients with activities of daily life, such as dressing, meal preparation, and personal hygiene.
- Encourage clients to participate in everyday duties to help them keep their independence.
- To guarantee that the unique needs of every client are satisfied, carefully adhere to care plans.
- Effectively communicate client status updates and any changes in condition to clients, families, and medical staff.
- Keep thorough records of the care you give, and let the right people know about any issues.
- As needed, drive clients to social events or appointments while making sure they are safe.
- Take part in training programs to improve your knowledge of IT systems used for record-keeping and home care.
Experience
- While not required, prior experience in home care or a related function is preferred.
- It is beneficial to be knowledgeable about care plans and capable of carrying them out successfully.
- Interacting with clients and team members requires strong English communication skills.
- It is preferable to have a current driver’s license in order to transport customers when necessary.
- To succeed in this position, one must possess a compassionate disposition and a dedication to offering top-notch assistance.
